POL Goes to Boston

Will you be at the National Council of Teachers of English Annual Convention in Boston this year?  If so, make sure you stop by the Poetry Out Loud booth in the Exhibit Hall. We will be in booth 832 handing out free POL swag and answering any and all questions about the program. Also, please feel free to stop by and tell us how we're doing; we are always eager to hear your suggestions!

Also, plan on attending the session "Standing up for Poetry: Recitation in the Classroom" in whcih Program Director Stephen Young will be on a panel to discuss the use of recitation as a viable learning tool in the modern classroom. More info on the session here:  http://center.uoregon.edu/NCTE/2013AnnualConvention/program/search_results.php?sessionid=1544336
