C. K. Williams

C.K. Williams was born in Newark, New Jersey, and attended the University of Pennsylvania. He won several major awards, published several books of translations, and was a creative writing professor at Princeton University. In his poetry, Williams was concerned with complicated psychological states and the way people relate to the larger world. His poems often connect a particular place to a mind observing the place to create a nuanced understanding of life.
