Bryan Byrdlong grew up in Chicago. He earned a BA from Vanderbilt University and an MFA in creative writing from University of Michigan. His poetry has appeared in many journals, including Kenyon Review, Apogee Journal, Pleiades Magazine, Nashville Review, and Heavy Feather Review. Byrdlong lives in Los Angeles.
